How to Learn?

Learning about learning, thinking about thinking is also called Metacognition.

How do you learn? What is going on in your mind?
What do you see, hear, feel, think about …?

Children have to learn a lot, but many of them do not learn HOW to learn. Once you consciously find out how you learn and remember new information, you can decide wether or not that is a strategy that works for you. If not, we will find another strategy that does work for you. Once you know how that works, you can use these skills over and over again.

Basic skills and information are presented in a way that they can be memorised, without distracting images. Think of the alphabet, the 100-square, days of the week, months of the year, times tables, number bonds, clocks, etc..
